Hanseatic Efficiency
FVTR sponsors the Hanseatic Effiency Team which is a competitor in the Shell organized efficiency competition, the Shell Eco-Marathon. The student team of the University of Rostock participates in the category internal combustion engines since 2010 and displays continuous improvements which result in an increasing performance in the mileage competition. The result in the 2017 race was 761 km/l gasoline, which corresponds to the 16th place overall in the category and second-best german team.
